At Oconee Presbyterian, we have many opportunities to serve God and each other within the church. Providing food, mentoring youth, keeping our facilities beautiful and safe, and serving in worship are just a few of the options available.
In addition to specific events, we have the following ongoing opportunities for service:
Music is a ministry that is vital to worship at OPC. There are opportunities to serve for singers and non-singers alike. The handbell choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m., followed by the singing choir at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome in both groups. We also have opportunities for instrumentalists. For more information, please contact our Music Director, Dallas Bono at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or just come to a rehearsal–you’ll be most welcome!
This is a great opportunity for a couple of friends, a family or two, or a small group to offer their time to OPC. Commitment requires about 30 minutes per week and ideally a person/group takes responsibility for a month. October and November are still available! For more information or to volunteer, please contact Elizabeth Hovell at 706-705-1700 or email@example.com.
